110 mph gauges to 150 mph

I searched through the forums but couldn't find a definite answer. I switched my 110mph gauges to 150mph. As you can image, the speedo is wrong. Can I recalibrate this in the PCM (dyno tune/mail order tune) or is it mechanical?

Did you switch the cluster or just added 150mph white faces?

What he said. I believe if you just switch clusters then the speedo should read correctly.

Just the gauges, didn't change the cluster. Will I need a 150 cluster, or can I have it adjusted?

-White faced 150mph gauges looks better than the stock black 110mph
-Looks 10x better at night
-My car can go faster than 110mph
-I honestly thought that u could edit the PCM to adjust the speedo

Yeah, you'll need the 150mph cluster to go with the new gauge face you bought.

You can keep your mileage the same too to keep it accurate by "swapping" the odometer wheels.

What he said.

And to answer your question of where to buy them, eBay.

Re: 110 mph gauges to 150 mph

What car did the original poster have? V6 or V8? I don't think V8's came with the 110 mph gauges, so that's what confused me....

Re: 110 mph gauges to 150 mph

No V8's could get 110 speedo's. If you had a V8 you had to have the Z rated tire option to get the 150 speedo.

Oh, then I guess I have that then, cuz mine are 150's.

I knew there was another one besides the 150, but I thought it was 120, not 110.

110 cars have speed limiters on them and i guess if you get a fast car you might trap over 110 and want to see that at the track i guess.
