Does anyone know if there is a gravel/splash guard under the center front directly under the crank pulleys or is it see through?

If there isn't one, could I make one out of fiberglass or something? Will there be any problems with overheating?

 

as far as I can remember the k member is like the rock guard where u will hit it instead of the crank
