~PICS~ Tinted out my Tail Lights, 3rd brake light, and Corners! LOOK!

Tell me what you think. I was bored so I tinted out the taillights, 3rd brake light, and corner lights.

VHT Night Shades made that possible.

With about 3-4 coats on each lense. Came out great and can still see the brake lights lol.

Tell me what you think.

Looks pretty nice. Did you use any clear coat on the lights?

Too dark for my taste. That and I never liked the flat black look. I got mine done at my body shop. They only put on 2 very light coats of VHT, and then put a clear coat over it.

But, to each his own. If you like em man, thats all that really matters. At least they're not too dark on your car with the break applied.

I'm not sure how much clear they put on. I was very happy with how they turned out as well. Thanks.

Mine look similar to yours (call911) but they are just blackout tail lights from HKO or whatever the 3 letters the company is.
Teaming Teal, i did this exact same thing a while back. Did you sand the 3rd brake lite before you did it?
I remember that its a rough bumpy surface like some other lights. I sanded mine with 1000 grit, 2500, and some 3000 too. Than I hit mine with 2 coats of clear after 3 coats of the VHT night shade. Looks great, has some gloss to it but not too much.

i think the taillights would look great with the berger panel if they weren't cleared. they would just have to be a little darker.
