$482 quote for shaving my antenna and paint

Does this quote seem kind of high?

it was to shave the antenna and paint the part of the panel that was sanded.

i think that sounds quite high. the electric ones seem just as clean of a look and for the price its a lot cheaper. especially if you can just find one off a wrecked trans am at a wrecker

once you get rid of the antenna, are you going to mount it some place else? what will you use instead?

Well it depends on what they are doing. are they welding in a new piece to fill the whole, filling it then smotthing it.
are they painting the whole quater panel ? what color is your car, that can have an impact on price to. I'd say 400 to 500 range is ok but 600 it kinda steep

I ordered a hidden antenna kit and plan on using that

My car is white, they will weld in the plate for the hole, sand, smooth, and paint the area around the hole by blending it with the paint.
