Re: Wtb: Ninja 250

Is this for a new rider? As much as I like kawasaki I would not buy one " no offense to you CLEAR". Even if its your first bike I would not buy one. One of the best bikes you can buy would be a sv650. Check those out! They handle great and the resale is good to. Sorry, if I sound like a saleman. I sold bikes for a year and the only person I sold a 250 to was a lady who had her mind set on a 250. Oh yeah, check out abate.com. That course will help you out a lot. And they teach you how to ride on a 250. So if you did not like the 250 at the course, then all it would cost is 50.00 vs. buying one at retail price and trying to sell it in 1 week. Feel free to ask me questions, I know more about bikes than cars, lol! But all that matterns in the end is that you are riding on two wheels !

Re: Wtb: Ninja 250

No need to feel sorry I don't really like it either. I was just giving you more options. I am kind of confused, you want a sport bike, but slow ? I thought that the sv650 was slow, but then again I ride turbo busa. Anyways good luck at finding your bike.

Re: Wtb: Ninja 250

The SV650S is not a bad looking bike at all though. If you were to go with a SV650, just make it the SV650S.

well, if you're looking for a 250, you've probably never ridden before and are looking for a beginner/learners bike. If that's the case, then no plastics=nothing to replace when you drop it in the driveway or making a turn in a parking lot. Just some food for thought, plastics are EXPENSIVE to replace.
