i have a ring that came from kays jewlers and it is 14k white gold and has a 1ct diamond on it. the diamond it princess cut and the it has diamonds on the both the front and rear sides of the ring as well. the ring cost me about 2000 dollars and i would like to get 600obo out of it. absolutly nothing wrong with this ring just have no use for it now.

not to sure what you mean by clarity and color codes? sorry just not real big on jewelry. i will try to get some pics tomorrow with my buddies digital camera. it is in perfect shape but as far as color codes it is just white gold with the diamonds. sorry i couldnt be more help on that part. thanks for the reply i really need to get rid of this thing.

 

The color is identified by a letter the clarity is would be something like VVS 1. Did you not get any documentation with it, like an appraisal?

 

no got it from kays and gave it to a my ex and then got it back from her and have had it put up ever since. that has been a little over a year

 

If it truly is a one carat diamond for $600... you can tell if it's a deal just by looking at it and then having a jeweler confirm it's a diamond and not glass.

One appraiser's G is another appraiser's H-I (and vice-versa) - unless it's GIA certified.

 

don have a clue about the g and h-i thing but i wiil get pics up soon and if needed i can go and get an jewlers conformation that its real diamonds.

sorry guys its been a while since i last posted. i have had a lot of **** going on. my first son was born a few weeks ago and have been kind off tied up. but i will have pics later TODAY and will send them out. trust me i could use the money

 

sorry it took so long to reply and that i didnt get the pics when i said i was. i said that because somebody was going to let me barrow a camera that night and they did but not a one of the pics came out at all. then i bought a new roll of film and shot the complete roll on the ring and not a single on came out. they were all completely black. so finally i found someone with a decent digital camera and got a couple of pics. they are a little blurry but the ring is flawless. just harder than i ever imagined it would be to get a picture of a ring. pics have been sent to those that asked and can send them to anyone else interested. please let me know if you are interested or know of anyone that might be. thanks
