1976 IT 400 Yamaha dirtbike w/ parts bike
I have a 1976 IT 400 Yamaha dirtbike for sale. I rode it last summer, but have not been able to ride it much as I was in England all summer. I just had it out this past week to make sure she still runs and works fine, and it does. Man, I remember why I liked it so much now! It sucks to sell it, but I need the cash for college. Hopefully it can make someone else happy now!
Details:
front tire is 3.00-21 4 ply Bridgestone Motocross-7 rubber
rear tire is 5.10-18 4 ply Dunlop Sports K-39.0M
Both tires are nobby, and still lots of depth left.
Has mono rear shock.
Seat is not ripped.
I installed a kill switch from another junkyard bike, so there are numerous unused wires off of that.
Quick twist throttle, new brake lever
Both brakes work great.
Runs strong.
400cc single piston motor, 2 stroke, with newer spark plug.
This is a parts matching motor and frame bike, serial number 510-201472
I purchased from my uncle a couple years ago, and he had just rebuilt the motor. I have probably 25-30 total hours on the motor... I didn't ride it much.
Parts bike that is goin with it:
4.60-18 rear tire Dunlop Sports Sentor
3.00-21 front tire Dunlop Sports
It is complete minus the fuel tank, as I needed that for the bike that runs.
This too is a number matching bike, serial number 510-004181
Has aftermarket handlebars
Mono rear shock
Tires are still very good.
Price is $750 for this very dependable and bulletproof bike. Its a tried and true model from Yamaha.

Thanks for lookin!
