ZZ4/ZZ3 cam W/ 95 Opti Possible?

Can anyone answer this question for me?

Can you swap the dowel pin out of a ZZ4 cam to work in a 95 optispark setup? If so how do you swap the pin exactly?

Slide Hammer.

You might have to change the front of the cam to get the opti drive to work with it too. Only a machine shop with a lathe could do that.

heres some info on how an lt1 cam differs from a standard roller. http://www.compcams.com/catalog/042.html

basicly i think you have to have the pilot hole cut deeper and the end of the cam turned down a little.

i looked into using this cam awhile back from what i can tell it'll make stupid tq and should actually be slightly better than the 210/224 from crane. good luck whatever you decide.
