Google is your friend

http://www.probeindustries.com/

There are about 8 dealers on the first page of the Google search.

Probe would not be in my list of pistons to buy. Mahle, Wiseco, SRP(JE), and Diamond are all superior pistons.

ROSS too.

I have seen issues with diamond clearancing the rod under the piston. But it was a big GRP aluminum rod. Sent em back and they grinded the bottoms of them We called Ross

Probe for some unknown reason has a problem with weight matching their pistons, I have gotten them for projects that would otherwise require a custom JE set to be ordered such as stroker 460 fords. The machining was rough compared to the other companies I mentioned, and the pistons had to be milled to match weights they were so far off.

They are big in the ford world because they did the best job marketing the 347/393/408 for stroker kits as complete packages through their in-house engine building shop Coast High Performance. Their product quality is no where near that of the other major piston manufacturers.

I am using probe srs pistons in my 383.

No weight matching issues with my set.

No problems to report either

I purchased them from dyno-flo

I just ordered a set of Wiseco's from summit just now..

Build a 355 for an LT1 swap into a 3rd gen on a friends car. Starting him off easy for now, get him use to his new found power.

355
Wiseco pistons
Scat forged rods
Stock crank
fresh stock heads
CC503

And as soon and the stock 700R4 craps out, upgrading him to CPT Pro Race with 3600 converter.

Hey,ya gotta balance them anyway!!!!
Their price isn't near what others are either.
I have been using them for 'bout 15 years and no breakage so far.
OBTW they make ALL the pistons for Roush Racing.

I shouldn't have to remove 5+ grams - that is crappy tolerances and machining.

Yeah - and you get what you pay for.

Maybe according to you!!!!!
pay the big bucks for a shinning piece of aluminum that is going to get scraped, rubbed, burnt, ect and in a few miles ya can't tell the difference. That's OK with me,but I have always got a good product from them to stand up to the abuses.

"O" anybody say auto work was easy!!!!! taking a little metal out of a chunk of aluminum is slave work,uh huh....

I work at wiseco, but in the custom auto department. You will be happy. Did you buy the pro tru set or the reg. auto set. If you bought the pro tru set, dont put more than a 75 shot on them, those are made for everyday driving with weekend track time. The reg. auto set, then you can n2o them and beat the living hell out of them.

dont buy the probes, and i dont like mahles either.go with the je hd flatops,or srp is a good second choice.i bought some mahles after reading so much about them on this website, but they are thin, lightweight pistons more suited for 2brl. carb circle track racing.i have bought and studied every make of piston for the sbc, and je is the way to gofor the drag racer.
