timing at 7500 ft elevation

I have a 91 Z28 with about 11 to 1 c/r. I also have many other upgrades like 24lb injectors, twin 58 throttlebody, bigger cam, headers and 3" flowmasters. i have the timing a 6 degrees and it hesitates when i punch it. is my timing right or what else could be wrong?
