i was playing around last night...practicing launches.....went to shift second and it banged loud and now when i shift into second...nothing...everyother gear works perfect...the clutch is a mcloed


shift fork?

Might be, or you wiped out the synchro hub teeth on the 2nd driven gear. I'm guessing the later, as the shift fork would have to be bent enough to engage first in the neutral position if it wouldn't grab second at all. You should probably take it apart for inspection before you run the broken bits through the rest of the trans and cause bigger problems.
