stroker head gaskets

tired of searching here and google with no major results

what i need to know is the cyl bore dia and compression specs on

impala i allready know its .029 compressed but whats the bore diameter

and if there is a different gasket the LT4 head gaskets bore and compr and maybe a GM part number also

i have ran the felpro 1074 on my old setup but im trying to get a lil tighter quench and compression as the heads are 58cc on mine now

I run Cometic's religously on our stuff. They will make anything you want and hold the gasket opening very close to the bore size.

For example their 4.030 bore gasket has a 4.040 gasket opening. Where as a Fel Pro typicall is at 4.125.

Let me know if you are in need and I can get you taken care of. How tight are you looking to run it?

What is the advantage of having a tighter fitting gasket?

Re: stroker head gaskets

When I said "tight" I was referring to the quench distance that he wants to run.

So, this will increase both quench and compression by using this type of gasket?

Re: stroker head gaskets

i have just went ahead and decided to put my new 1074's on the motor and on the next freshen up i will put my dome pistons in it to get the compression up around the 14:1 mark

right now im at 11.8:1 with the felpros

pending on the gasket bore's i was trying to get it at 12.2:1 or more but i decided to go ahead and assemble it
