That's the end result I was getting at. And it brings up another question:

For those of you who have experience setting individual cylinder fuel trims properly on an LT1 or regular SBC with any other type of intake, what is the common variance from cylinder to cylinder?

Is it common for #1 & #2 to need 4.6% more fuel than #7 & #8 at WOT? Is that something that would concern you?

How about 13.2% more fuel for #1 & #2 than for #7 & #8 at idle? Normal?

That's how the stock LT1 PCM is programmed. One can only assume the people at GM who did this set them that way through proper testing.

Normal...
with all the air entering the front of the intake those holes are leaner and just the opsite [sp?] for the back of the intake. Another thing that will help to get them running closer is to ditch the factroy fuel rail that feeds into one rail crossing over to the other bank where it's dead headed on the regulator. It works but feeding both rails the supply then into a reg from each bank cleans up the split further.
Just what I noticed when I did this to the LT1 manifold before my SP days.. it stop nipping plugs on the bottle when I did this
