Started New 383 Le2..idleing Issue

well i started my 383 a couple nights ago and the car does the weirdest thing it idles irratically like revs on its own it goes up and down repeatedly then after 3-5 minutes the car dies also when the car is put under a load such as into gear (its a A4) it completely dies out also, heres what we did so far we adjusted the tps to .68v also adjusted the throttle screw on the throttle body itself anyone here had a similar problem?

Is your boot on the TB right? Is TPS voltage around 5v at wide open? How much FP? Is the mass air meter working correct? Do you have a vacuum leak?

here is some food for thought. I have had to replace the IAC on several cars lately after installing upgrades. Seems they are wearing a pattern inside and movment is restricted.

Look at you IAC counts and see what they are doing. If it is maxing out one or both directions clean it up and see if it helps any

I had to open my TB blade screw quite a bit. Maybe try a bit more?

If you take the time to learn about drilling the IAC bypass you will be rewarded with a better idle and better idle creep manners. Opening the blades is flat out the wrong way to do this.

Take a look at a stock TB and you'll see a small bypass hole between the 2 blades toward the bottom. Your aftermarket TB doesn't have this hole, just drill it out similar to the stock piece. Very easy to do.
I agree that drilling the bypass hole is mach better than opening the blade because the directs air to the idle air passage in the intake manifold.

I'll bite, but there has to be more then just drilling a hole...
