Scored a Top Fuel block sleeve today!

Was at the NHRA event at Bristol and they had a sleeve laying against the fence and I asked one of the crew members if it was up for grabs and he said yes. Bore size is ~4.175". Will have pics up soon. Shoulda asked for the piston that went with it.

Edit - It was actually off a Bob Gilbertson's Funny Car, but it's the same difference.

Only eight more to find and then we can begin the build up!

I know some teams use 1.7:1 ratio rockers.

If everyone chips in some specs, we can run these guys and quit our day jobs!

Ummm yeah...haven't you heard of the in-line nine?

Now you're going to make me go back and edit that huh?

I'll leave it for all the world to see. Should make someone spit up their
morning coffee tomorrow.

1st Pic - Looking down from the top. At about 1 oclock and 5 oclock are recesses for head studs. 12 oclock and 6 oclock are flat for mating up to the sleeve next to it. On the right side, is that recessed for the intake valve?
Pic 1

Outside pic, can see the head stud recess better
Pic 2

Clearanced for rotating assembly. You can begin to see a little bit of the carnage
Pic3

Carnage
Pic4

Relatively undamaged wall
Pic 5

Carnage
Pic6

Better shot of recess for intake valve and shows how far the piston comes up.
Pic7

Edit - feels sorta wierd thinking about holding 1000 horsepower in your hands.

Tape that sob to the top of your engine with some duct tape. If ricer theory holds true you should geat a least half of that 1000 hp to transfer to your motor. But be careful you might blow the welds on you intake. So use the carbon fiber style duct tape.....
