Last I heard was a 75 shot, which is not much, especially not on something running like that.

It is not like it is a 300 shot. There are multiple Impalas with 3-400 shots running 10.8-11.0, not sure if that is funny or sad.

I haven't personally talked to him in a while but I have talked to a relative of his not too long ago. The last thing I heard is that he give up on the "intercooling" aspect of it and started to put more to it n2o wise. But then again, I may be wrong.........

To the OP..........Sorry for hijacking your thread.

yeah, but thats a full drag motor vs. a daily driver that might not see much boost, plus he's using nitrous. i'm just saying it's worth building into something for a daily driver like what he's planning. personally, i build it ito every motor i do.

Actually, his car is NOT a full on drag car ! If you are ever in the neighborhood of Fishers Indiana, you may catch it out on the streets some time ! Granted, this is a purpose built car BUT is is completely street legal with FULL interior and if I am not mistaken, he still has the A/C in it. If you did not know what you are looking for, it is barely noticable what all he has done to his car......until you hear it or pop the hood. The most impressive thing with Jeff's Impala is that it still runs on the GM computer, through a 58 mm T/B and an optispark ! Yes that is right, I said OPTISPARK !

Even had a mechanical WP on it but kept twisting off impellers, 4L60E, 8.5" 10 bolt and a whole lot of other stuff every kid who wants a 11 second car thinks they have to throw away.

I only met Jeff at one event and our initial conversation was cut short because they decided to make an ice cream run in that beast.

People dismiss cars as "drag cars" based solely on performance. In doing so they stop themselves from beeing able to copy the standout performers.

Jeff's car is one I wish got more attention because we could all learn a LOT form the substantial effort he has put into figuring out whgat does and does not work.
