Thats a painful way to finish a project!

Chris Alston's Chassisworks is the latest thorn in my side. I ordered two weld-up header kits, one 1 3/4", one 1 7/8". One with standard SBC flanges, one with spreadport flanges, both with 3" collectors.
The kits show up on May 20th, and I have one 1 7/8" 3" collector, one 1 7/8" 3.5" collector, and no 1 3/4" collectors at all. No damage to the boxes, someone just screwed up. Turns out the spreadport flanges don't fit my heads either and aren't what I thought I was getting based on the picture in their catalog anyway. (Turned out I needed and now already have the correct Stahl pattern flanges).

So I call them and talk to one support guy and he says he'll get the 1 3/4" collectors I'm missing right out, but that I'll have to call back the next day and talk to the guy who took my order about straightening out the mis-matched collectors and flanges. Fine.
So I call back the next day and literally spend 45 minutes on the phone long distance with the guy explaining the problem so that he can understand it and he mentions that nothing was done on the 1 3/4" collectors and wouldn't have been until he dealt with it. We agree that I'll head home after work and check the number on the exhaust flanges and give him a call before he leaves for the day. The result of that call is that he says he'll send the 1 3/4" collectors, and send a claim ticket for the 1 7/8" 3.5" collector and spreadport (Brodix 18-degree, as it turns out) flanges, which aren't going to work. I even offer to pay the restocking fee and he says don't worry about it.
Nothing shows up...

I call back after a few weeks have gone by and ask what's up. He says there was some problem with the claim ticket and do I want them to send it UPS or mail. I said mail is fine. He also chooses this time to mention that I won't get the 1 3/4" collectors that I've been missing since day one until they get the 1 7/8" collector and flanges back. OK, whatever.

Here we are over five weeks later and I still don't have the right parts, there's no end in sight, and the only thing changing is my phone bill.
By contrast, I special ordered a Canton pan for my block from Thunder Racing two or three weeks ago that they didn't carry. It's already been here and been sent back (wrong picture and description on Canton's web site is to blame...) for a replacement, and I'll bet I get that replacement before I even get the promised claim ticket from Chris Alston's Lousy Customer Serviceworks, let alone my parts. Thunder Racing rocks.

I think you just like saying 1,000hp camaro Jordan. It cant be just a regular Z, it HAS to be a "1000HP CAMARO".
