Resistance of spark plugs
Resistance of spark plugs
I have been chasing a miss for a week or two now....since I installed a wet kit. The only thing I could figure is I screwed up a wire or plug. It has a low rpm miss and shakes and shudders...pops through exhaust. I replaced wires...problem did not go away. In the LT1 forum someone suggested I check the resistance of the new NGK TR6's I put in. So I did..here's the results.

Does anyone know the range of acceptability? Do any of these look odd or abnormal? I used a fluke digital meter to ohm them out.

Re: Resistance of spark plugs
Did your car start missing after you ran the nitrous one time? If so, have you checked all of your plugs since you ran the nitrous? Maybe you fried an electrode?
I know with my old vortec setup (350, 9.9:1, vortec heads, XE274 flat tappet), the TR6's were too cold and fouled extremely easily. Maybe you are having the same problem?

Re: Resistance of spark plugs
No I haven't even tried to spray yet. I noticed the miss as soon as I pulled it out of the driveway. The hotter the motor gets the more noticable the miss is ...thats why i thought I fried a wire.
