Pipe CFM, Muffler/Exit Location and Resonance...

Fairly sure I'm going with custom 3.5" crushed i-pipe, Dynomax bullet muffler but not sure where and if 3.5" crushed is too big for my application.

I want to get as much power as possible but not at the cost of internal resonance/drone. Pretty much only have 3 possible options:

*bullet just before the axle and a turn down
*bullet just before the axle but continue to exit at passenger rear
*bullet in stock location exiting on driver side rear

My preference would be the second choice mix of performance/noise but pretty sure the third option would be the best mix of performance/low resonance. Let me know what you've experienced with various muffler and exit locations.

Also not definite on the i-pipe size. Shooting for a system CFM of ~660 Need to know the CFM of different diameters:

2.75"
3.00"
3.25"
3.50"

Once I have the straight CFM I can figure the bend flow. Been searching the internet but have come up with nothing except Dynomax's own rating on their bullet muffler as reference. It's pretty close to pipe but even it has a loss from the perferations. So if you know, chime in.
