Sorry if in wrong thread totally new to this kind of tech. So I was wondering what this project will require in parts and what modifications I will have to make. The motor will be upgraded to be somewhat modern. Im up for the challenge. Also, I was wondering if a 94-97 manual tranny would hook up to this year engine. Im all new to this kind of stuff but am willing to learn through trial and error. I plan on dropping this engine in a V6 that I have, that seems to be on its way out.

BMR makes a k-member that'll help you with the gen1 engine to 4th gen swap.

As for the tranny, I know guys have done it. Just don't know all the details. Maybe someone with actual experience will chime in on that one.

Good luck.
