Ok I'll try this here......

I posted this in the LT1 Tech forum with no results so far. I'm not looking for an indepth answer just a yes it will work or a no it won't will be just fine. Anyway here it goes :

OK i am getting the cc306 cam and I already have a set of springs that I bought with the heads that I have. My question is will these springs be too much or will they be ok to use with the CC306. The spring spec's are as follows : They are dual vlave springs with a seat pressure of 135 @ 1.910; Open pressure of 320 @ 1.25 and coil bind at 1.150. I was told that this setup was good up to .650 lift but i just want to make sure that these springs aren't too much for the cc306 cam. Thanks

The 306 calls for a 986 sping. The one you list looks like a beefier spring.

Why not call Comp, give them the specs of your springs, and see what they say?
