NOS ? since I converted to a single plain
Could I run a plate setup like you see on the carbed motors. I would think I could just jet it like a efi setup. I don't feel like pluming for direct port but if that's my only options know then so be it. Wasn't sure if I needed to put this in the NOS forum, so I'm asking here, since I did a conversion to a single plain intake.

It might work great but I don't know of one single plate system made for high pressure. I would use the plate but plumb in a bypass regulator and run the plate at carb pressures(6-10psi). Thats just my two cents worth.

PNYKILR, you talking about a 23 or 18 deg head setup here right?

It's still a 23* head(AFR 210's). Since I can't run a single fogger nozzle on this thing any more I wanted to run a plate on top of the Victor Jr EFI intake that's on it now. I only want to spray a 175 shot through it. Nothing too big. Just wondering if a plate setup would work since i'm still EFI? Wonder what jetting I would need. I was going to run a small 1 gallon fuel cell up front for the fuel portion, so I would guess I could run a small fuel pump and reg it to 10psi. This would be new to me so I don't really know how it needs to be setup?

Well if your gonna run a low pressure fuel system I'd say give the 6.5 PSI route a try with whats called the "square tune" it works well with a NOS double cross plate system. You run the same size jet for nitrous and fuel. 850 for bottle pressure also. So if your looking for 175 hp go with 68's for jets.

A double cross is good for 500 hp easy. It's a proven winner on track and is like running fogger power but in a plate and as you mentioned it is great with manifolds with runners that extend into the plenum. The only plate I'd run on a SBC single plane.
