no power to injectors while cranking...

Hello everyone, I have an ex-tpi 350 (which is now a lt1 intake 383) which will not start on its own. The only way this engine will start is by shooting a little bit of fuel into the intake, once I do this it fires up right away and runs fine. When I have it on the "key on" position the injectors have power, once I crank it over there is no power to the injectors!? Fuel pressure is o.k, timing is o.k, the vats has been deleted, the cold start has been deleted('88 vette engine and harness by the way) I am totally stumped!! any suggestions would be great!! Also, the maf is hooked up to the harness but not installed, I am having problems connecting my old intake bellow the the maf sensor.

Re: no power to injectors while cranking...

I will review this tomorrow when i am in a more capable state of mind , id like to get to the bottom of this as well as i think of myself as knowing these systems in and out[other than programming]....
forgive me if this sounds silly, but the 2 pin weatherpaks for the 2nd distributor plug and the sensor under the upper plenum are exactly the same and easily switched......but then it wouldnt fire at all.oops.
