New Comp 26120 Beehive spring. It's a biggun

part # 26120

1.095/1.445 OD
1.00/.650 ID
155lb @ 1.88
377lb @ 1.28
Coil bind at 1.23
370 lb/in rate

These are bigguns, bigger then the 918s, finally there is another alternative in the beehive category for those applications needing something a little stronger then the 918s. Is there any good way to adapt these to an LT/LS head?

Not really a new spring, been out there for BBC Hyd Roller setups for a long time.

Run them on a few motors already. They work really well on marine BBC's using Hyd Rollers, and street BBC Hyd Roller motors.

They WILL NOT bolt up to stock LT1 or LS1 heads, so don't try. You have to change the whole system to get them to work.

They also have more mass than a 918, it's not just about spring pressure but mass and spring pressure.

Was hard to tell, just noticed them in the 2004 comp new products listing and there weren't too too many details there.
