Making or modifying Fuel rails?
Making or modifying Fuel rails?
I'm buying a Holley "Stealth Ram" intake, obviously my stock rails are too narrow and the cross-over lines are in the way. And I can't justify paying $175 for fuel rails only!
Is it easier to machine some new rails and plumb them with braided fuel hose, or modify the stockers by welding up the existing cross-over holes, drilling/tapping the ends and plumbing crossovers with the braided lines?
Or modify some other "Doner's" fuel rails to fit, like LT1's???

I'd say either way since whatever you decide will require welding and some fabrication. You could use some LT1 rails and weld in some -AN fittings and mounts onto the intake.
Either that, or Arizona Speed and Marine sell fuel rail (no ends) by the ft for a pretty reasonable price.
