I am still searching for a 9 sec. LT1 with a 6speed...are there any???? I asked this question a few weeks ago. Every car that was mentioned had a th400 (or something other than a T56). I am STILL wondering if anyone KNOWS FOR SURE if there is a 9 second LT1 six speed car any where out there?????

i dont know of any that have run 9s yet, but there is an LS1 6 speed in the 9s (at 3800lbs too). 9s is certainly not impossible. the main key is, if the tires spin, the tranny will live. if the car hooks hard, the output shaft will break. last year i was spinning to 1.4 60's on my 6 speed. this winter i did ALOT of suspension work, and as a result decided to give up the T56 for a Th400. sad day
