Well, if it would be easier to make the power that is an advantage also. Then again, there is only so far you can go without tearing apart the whole car and rebuilding it from the ground up, and LS1 parts are more expensive, so put it all on paper and see which one wins in your opinion. If money is no object, then why not go LS1 anyway.
