Lemons Headers vs. Stahl Headers?

I'm looking for custom headers for my drag car, I like Stahl's performance guarantee - but that doesnt always mean they are the best, since not many people feel like switching out headers 3 times to compare which are better. I've also been looking at Lemons Headers tho, they are a lil cheaper, but price isn't an issue. I've just not heard as much about Lemons headers as I have Stahl's. I like to give a chance to the little guy whenever I can n I get the idea Stahl is much more known than Lemons Headers. But on the other hand, if its a 20hp difference, for $50 price difference, then I'd obviously go with Stahl's, but if Lemons Headers are reputable to make good power, then I'd go with them!

Nitro,

I have had Lemmons in the past and present. Very nice header and for a SBC Lemmon will build prim. tube up to 2 1/4" if thats what your combination requires and BB up to 2 5/8 and collector up to 6". You might want to post on this site:

www.gofastzone.com

Many of these guy's here have run or are running Lemmon's and can give you info about them for carbed setup. 99% of these guy's are drag racers with limmited street driving. Some are from my local home town and are driving 7 sec. tube cars on the street and think it a cruiser. You will see if you visite the site.

Lemmons it is then Thanks for the info, just wanted to make sure that they are a good header before I go spending $1000 bucks on em, original idea was to go get me some Hedman Hussler's but I figure when you're spending $35,000 on a car then why get cheap generic headers for $500 from Summit when you can get custom headers for only twice the price lol.
