Just finished my Dart 200 port.
Just finished my Dart 200 port.
Just flowed my Dart 200 port with a 2.02 valve after some minor work in the bowl and around the guide and a good valve and valvejob. Here are the figures.
.050 30 cfm
.100 66 cfm
.150 - 102 cfm
.200 - 138 cfm
.250 - 166 cfm
.300 - 195 cfm
.400 - 244 cfm
.500 - 277 cfm
.550 - 286 cfm
.600 - 286 cfm
.700 - 287 cfm
Overall velocity is high and there is very little turbulence at 700 lift. I think a little more work in the bowl and there might be a 290 in it.

No back flow numbers yet. I'll do that on monday. It will be inline with the valve job.
They flowed like 247 @ .500 stock. I worked the chamber a little and put a good valvejob on it then did some bowl work. My goal for that port is 295 but our bench is pretty stingy compared to some of the shops in the area so they would probably go 295 or more on someone elses bench.

Funny thing is we have a cirlce track class up here that uses those heads with no porting and a 2bbl carb and a performer intake. The guys who cheat run head flowing closer to yours.
Rebadging a set of Sportsman II's as the Dart 200's would actually be a good deal and leaving them as cast, they would just about pass inspection then
What did you do for a valvejob? Any specs on that?

Im gonna try a 2.055 valve next and maybe a 2.08 valve on one of the other ports to see what it will change in the flow curve.
The velocity is really nice in that port right now so I think it would be very mean on a street car like a mild 383 or warmed over 350.
Heres the original 2.02 flow numbers with my valve job. The low lift are a couple numbers higher than stock but I dont have the bone stock numbers below .200
