Help Please?

What do I need to do to use this engine linked below, in a carb car. (82Olds) I think we are going to have fuel pump problems. http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...D&ProdID=17668

you would need an electric pump and regulator for a carb. summit has the kits for $220 with all the fittings and everything....

i was told that i may be able to just change cams.

for what?
ther is no hole in the block for a fuel pump pushrod..all cam have the essentric for the pump.....

theres a hole there...the engine is a LO5 (350 TBI)witch come in a 87-95 chevy truck

when I read that link it says no provisions for mechanical pump on that motor

They stopped casting it in there in 1987, everything went EFI then

my L98 block has the mech. pump casting.

and in that picture it has the casting too.

it is cast on there...there is no HOLE for the pump pushrod....."I THINK" I DO NOT KNOW why not call the people selling it

the best bet would be to call them. my L98 does have the pushrod hole too.
