HEI distributor or edis

Im to the point now where I want to change over and go either distributor in the rear of the motor or still run coils with the edis. I guess I really dont care which I do but it sounds like the HEI is the cheapest route. Those that run HEI what distributor are you using(p#) Are you running a crank trigger or just using the pick inside the dist? How are you pulling the dist in and out, did you cut the cowl or are you pulling the motor mounts everytime you pull it?

Thanks
