Got a problem with my AFR guideplates...

I was in the process of adjusting my rocker arms and a friend noticed a few of the rocker arms did not look properly aligned on top of the valve stem. I was wondering what folks have done to correct this?.

Thanks

Intake side? I had the exact same problem.....had to use different guideplates AND had to run .150" offset rockers on the intake side

AFR 210's

Hope yours doesnt require that.....I never did figure out why that was. No one had had that problem before....until now I guess

Jason nailed it. you can get close with Isky adjustable plates(make sure you weld them) but they move the intake port over a bit to far

Now that you mentione it.. The first one I noticed was the intake on #1. Saw several others but do not remember if they where intake or exhaust...

Check this out:

I'm looking for answers myself. I called Comp Cams earlier today and they haven't heard anything about this.

I did not realize this but the AFR guide plates have different lenght slots. The longer one should go on the exhaust. This is my problem. I guess I still have not learned to read ALL the paper work that comes with the product!!!!
