GN powered 1995 Camaro!!!
I currently own a 1995 camaro but I have all the pieces for the GN drivetrain. I have been looking for some help on the internet but I can't find anything at all. The only thing that I did find is the GM HIGH TECH article on the Formula, but I need a lot more info than that. Can anyone please help me. I really really want to do this swap but I need some more help on how to install it and what parts are customized and anything else involving this swap. Thank fellas I know you can help me!!!!
Do a search on www.turbobuick.com
There is a guy on there who put a GN drivetrain into his early 90s Corvette ("Roguevette" is his name or something like that). There was also someone who started a rather lengthy thread about a 4th gen swap a while back(wasn't you perhaps, was it?).
Things like engine mounts, intercooler location, ECU location, rear axle swap(LC2 is a torquey little beast), driveshaft modifications, downpipe and header mods, etc....were of specifics i can remember. Your gauges and stuff will be something of a pain to mess with, unless you plan on using all aftermarket sending units.
HTH and good luck
EDIT: I hope this works

Contact Tony of www.chargedair.com he and I talked about this at length last year and he can find all the parts for the conversion.
He also makes LT1 and LS1 twin turbo kits so he is well familiar with the issues of stuffing turbos under our hoods.

check out the hybrid section on Turbobuicks.com
The GN engine will fit into the 3rd and 4th gen Camaro's.... however you won't be able to keep the a/c without some mods in the engine bay. The TTA ('89 Turbo Trans Am) used different heads and headers to allow increased clearance and allow the use of a/c.
BTW- my friend with an '87 GN and 98K mile stock unopened factory longblock did the following mods:
LT1 valvesprings $100, new plugs AC Delco CR42TS $9, new GM wires $35, 160 Tstat $10, 3" downpipe $429, dual 3" exhaust $599, T-64E turbo $975, PTE intercooler $900, 50lb MSD injectors, custom chip for 100 octane $50. His transmission has been rebuilt with good clutches and a 3400 stall 9/11" lockup convertor.
on 100 octane fuel and 25psi with a gallon of 110 to be safe he made...... drumroll......
456rwhp@4600rpm ..................and
599rwtq@3400rpm!!!!!!!!
These little hairdryer V6's can really sing.
