You removed the fender to install the motor? That's cheating! Looks great, Dave.

Question: What kind of power steering pump is that?

Awesome. Looks great. Especially the cowl work and wiper mount! Sweet.

Should get back to work on mine next week. My buddy's car finally made it out after three weeks of thrashing. Iron 408 LS1 with a YSI-Trim made 780rwhp on 12psi. Launches good with the 29.5x10.5's off the t-brake. Doesn't even feel that boring... without jerking the left leg back and forth.

Dave,

Looks good. I'm glad everything cleared the cowl. I knew you were sweating bullets when you guys got the larger throttle body.

Later,

Steve.

Thankd guys. We did the cowl work mainly to clear the big throttle body but looking back at it, I don't think the distributor would have fit as well had we not, especially when putting the motor in.

I'm trying to think of some way to describe this project...words like "cool," "awesome," "spectacular," etc. just don't do it justice...
Guess I'll just have to go with something like "max zoom ultra bad azz to the google power!!!!!"
Really, nice job! What size tires do you have on the front of that beast? Looks like it will take a corner nicely!

Guys, if you haven't met unstable bob, you have missed one of life's finer experiences. I recently had the pleasure. Ahh, Canadian and garlic pizza!

Bob, I'll take the old poster off your hands.

Damn, that's a tight fit. The passenger side header looks like fun to bolt up
and access plugs.

Are the motor mounts moved back on the frame, or does it appear that way
because the rad and fan are not installed?

Speaking of motor mounts...I bet you're using solid mounts with a 0.000000001"
clearance between the fuel line and cowl

Meeting you and Bret was one of my best days, too, Sir! And I'm still raving about that pizza and beer. And until a few days ago I was still belching about it!

Taking the old poster "off my hands" might be a "sticky" situation...
EWWWW, GROSS!!!!!

Being just a rookie car buff compared to you gents, I will restrict my comment about the car to "SWEET". But I have to ask, would anything in life be better than taking a break from working on Daves car, sucking down your favorite brew, eating your garlic pizza, with onion and jalapeno on it by the way, while listening to your favorite rock and glancing over to the Farrah poster as your wife comes to the garage door in something skimpy and says hurry up honey, you promised me a date tonight, and by the way, don't worry about the extra money you need to finish your car, we'll manage.
I'll go to bed now, seeing as how I already seem to be dreaming.

Yeah, that is a nice dream! But it is just that, A DREAM! Hell, I came home from cruising tonight, and my wife hit me in the head with a vase because I didn't ask her to go. But just last week she hit me in the head with a vase because I asked her if she wanted to go cruising while one of her fav TV shows was on! Only thing I know is I'm dayum glad we're just about outa vases!
