Exhaust port size vs. Header port size
Re: Exhaust port size vs. Header port size
The Kooks headers are opened up to the size of exhaust port. Do not let the 1-3/4" size fool you. The flanges are opened up the size of the gasket that they send you.
Re: Exhaust port size vs. Header port size
What is the inside size of the header port on the kooks
Are your AFR 210 heads ported or out of the box
Is the width of the AFR 210 going to change if you ported the heads and then will the kooks still fit?
Can you get them in 1 7/8 full header or just the step?

Re: Exhaust port size vs. Header port size
The inside of the Kook's are almost identical shape and size wise to my ports on my AFR 210's.
When I measured my AFR 210 exhaust ports I have 1.70" X 1.62". So if I had to guess, 1.68" X 1.61" on the headers.
My heads on the exhaust side are really opened up and I don't see much more porting done...I probably have on .07" of inch from the header bolt hole from the edge of the port.
You can get them in 1-7/8" I believe...but I did not want to pull what needs to be pulled to get them in.
Words of advice though...
You might have issues with your starter fitting. I had to buy the smallest one I could.
Plug wires, unless you go OTVC route, will be an issue...heat shielding, boot guards will need to be looked into.
Plug 5 is retarded.
If your running a Canton pan...by low oil sensor.
