I'm running a 97 m6 383 with D1 @ 9.5:1 static. Spin the blower to 65K impellar speed @ 6500 engine rpm. Although, I also run a large spearco and meth/ h20 injection, I also, went with Evans waterless coolant and no thermostat to eliminate detonation. I am quite happy with it. I got the idea from Ray Bohacz's HP book (#1425)... Cooling Systems. Will never go back to water based coolant on a FI application. Heat management is usually overlooked as a solution to detonation.
