I was just wondering if I needed to change a piston or all 8 pistons can I just do that or would I have to also change the rods as well as the crank?

well I guess it depends on what all is hurt?

If the engine has been built and balanced AND you have the Spec card you can just replace the piston as nessecery with a new wieght matched piston.

What happen? With more info I am sure one of the engine guys here couls answer in a fashion that can help you

nothing happened to my engine. This has just been in my mind the last couple of days. The thing I forgot is the balancing factor. Just wondering if something happened like say I blew a piston, would I be able to just change out that piston or would I have to do a whole tear down
