Is this cam too big for a stock bottom end... valve -> piston clearance...

its a custom solid roller grind by Comp

Duration @0.50 248 int 254 exh

.577 int .583 exh (on 1.5)
.618 int .622 exh (on 1.6)

110 lsa on a 106 center line

could i even run that high of lift on stock pistons ?

would i get away with that duration with an M6 and 3.73 gears for the street ?

I have 1.6 rockers, and would like to run as high as lift as i can, because my heads flow really well above .600 ... but if i have to i can change my rockers to 1.5s or a combination for exh / int i guess.

also, for valve to piston clearance.. i have 2.055 / 1.6 valves with close to 12:1 C/R

thanx for ur advice

I dont think anyone has a set answer to the line between clearing and not clearing... as it will vary engine to engine and setup to setup. Really just clay it and check, is about the only thing to do.

Duration is going to play more a role in PTV clearance than Lift, I think you could pull that off... I ran a 242/248 on the stock bottom end. But really its going to be trial and error.
