Caddy 4/6/8 Electric Vacuum Pump Part #

Can anyone tell me the part # to the Caddy 4/6/8 electric vacuum pump that people are using for their crankcase evacuation pump?

I did a search and found a lot of helpful info, but no part #.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Cobra R pumps are also used, they are intended for crankcase evac as well. I don't have the p/n off hand, but that is the pump I am currently using. Works well, but last time I checked it was listing for $200+.

Thanks I appreciate it. I'm just looking for choices right now, but I know people have used the Caddy pump w/ great success in the past.

Later,

Steve.

Re: Caddy 4/6/8 Electric Vacuum Pump Part #

I spoke with Madman racing the other day about what they are using for an evac pump now. They tell me there using the air pumps off a 03 cobra or 02up lighting. I call Ford about this pump and they say it doesnt exist. whats this cobra R pump you are talking about? Madman use to use the old caddy pumps but they no longer make them.

Im woundering if these pumps they are using are the water pumps for the intercooler? I have been searching for part numbers and calling for a few days with no luck on an air pump for a o3 cobra or 02 lightning...Madman seems to think its an air pump but the location they discribe is the water pump for the intercooler. Anyone got additional info?

I have one of those Caddy vacuum pumps on the shelf, I can get the # off of it if you like.

It pulls a good amount of vacuum, but almost no CFM.

Cadillac: GM part # 22062562 ... Bracket part # 25534015.

If I can remember I'll call a friend that is a Ford parts whole seller tomorrow, that's where I got my Cobra R pump.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I'd be interested in those part #s from your friend. I'll probably go w/ that pump since the Caddy pump is discontinued.

Later,

Steve.

Ok, I just got off the phone with him and he had just left work...but he rattled off a number and he said he's 95.7% sure that's the number. I put it into Google and it came up with one positive result...so I guess this is it.

Cobra R Crankcase Evac Pump (elec.) - F6ZZ9A486DA

I've more possible/acceptable #s in addition to one above.
#22034995..... #24505066..... #10090521..... I've also a Ferd #. #E4FZ-2A451-A. Have not personally chased down these #s, or the corresponding parts in salvage yards. Your guess is as good as mine.

BTW, source was this location: http://www.hardtail.com/techtips.html

The pump in that picture looks exactly like the air pump on a 2001 Trans-Am, but with a different plug.
