Best shop for head/super vic conversion

I dont want to wait 6 months, I have decided the route to go..parts will be ordered next week. Who has the best turnaround? I will pay a little extra for some saved time.

Thanks

David,

There is only two of us who do it.... Me and Port Pro's. Tony said it takes THEM 9 hours for the bolt pattern conversion. I don't take that long since i've figured out how to make it faster over time. Problem is you don't need it if you are going with 23° SBC heads, you just need EFI bungs in the intake.

Bret,

CFM and GTP do the head conversion also(that I have found so far), Thunder can do the intake. And Of course you..I am still weighing options and its driving me God Forsaken crazy . Now that I have the money I can;t decide I talked to a head porter I have used before in Ga, he told me he has no problem getting 320 cfm from a Pro Action(RHS) 220. He can also do the Super Vic, then I can get them converted over. ANyone else know some shops that do this?

That's funny.... Craig asked me about that conversion. I know three of mine I know have been thru his shop. Now don't take this as I'm not saying anything bad about Craig at all, I've seen his good stuff come thru the shop and it is very well done, heads etc... It's just funny that now he offers it.

If you want anything that resembles a fast turn around, keep your stuff out of GTP.

The head conversion should be a walk in the park...the vic conversion should be easier.

Can you do it? Time and dollars involved?
