Anyone NOT running valve seals

We often dont run valve seals on our race motors. I know that on startup there will be a little oil burning. The reduced friction would be worth it. My question is will the computer be affected in anyway from o2 reading's or anything i am not thinking of?

the reason for not running seals has nothing to do with friction...it has to do with providing extra oil to the valve guides. In a street application, this certainly should not be of concern...so RUN SEALS!. Oil in the combustion process only causes 2 things in your case...premature O2 failure, and detonation.

detonation aint good with a 300 shot but the o2's already have short live's due to the 116 octane it runs on
