Has anybody come across ported E-tec 200 #'s? I figure if anybody has, you guys would have. I can't find a single websource/forum/messageboard where someone has ported a set and had them flowed.

Never flowed them, I would guess in the low 240's ish on intake and high 170's/ low 180's on exhaust.

I dont know what they will flow ported but I am sitting here looking at a edelbrock catalog and they give the flow number at .700 lift as 265/207 so they flow really good unported. If done right I bet they would flow great. I read a story in either car craft or chevy high performance about 8 or 9 months ago and they used these heads on a 355 with a really big soild roller cam and came up with 525 horsepower. Sounds like a good head. Hope I helped you out.

Thanks, I might add those numbers are with a pipe on the exhaust too. It was 540 horsepower, I think I am going to go bigger tho ...

As I understand the story,

He was fined $1500 and suspended from competition for two years, but I think someone else went on to drive his car.

He was cheating with nitrous. Seems he had ONE additional jet some place else than one his plate under the carb. The rules strictly prohibited that, and he was caught.

When he comes back he sure enough better have everything in order. Being labeled a "cheater", he'll probably have to go through some intense inspections.
