a4 shift points

I have a TCI trans, I am getting ready to send my computer for programming. Now when I get my shift points set at a certain rpm what would happen if one time I short shift lets say at 4000 due to wheelspin but the program is set for 6000 shift point will I still have the line presure for the shift. Hate to burn up a tranny due to line pressure being inadequate. TCI says I can manual shift this trans but won't this effect line pressure if I decide to shift it at a different point? the computer does control line pressure it applies? Understand not sure if I understand myself thanks Andel
