We have seen many 2 bolt lt-1's with over .270 on the thrust side of the bore...plenty of thickness for .125 overbore. We have a couple emeritz (sp?) customers with the big bore...no issues as of now.

sister cylinder dissipation is a problem under .150" but the reverse cooiling seems to solve the problem.


Also, on the 8.1.... you should have no problems with the horsepower level you are shooting for.
