.43 06 1/16th rings for n2o
The piston reps are telling me with there new tec. that its ok to use the .043 but the old school in me is saying i better go with the 1/16th any susgestions

The answer would depend on the usage. You didn't mention the specifics.
The 1/16" is a good compromise between long life & friction loss over the old style 5/64" rings. This is the generally accepted combination for performance applications.
The .043 was originally a drag race package that would allow high RPM without ring flutter & also minimum friction. For the street, under 8000 RPM usage & without crank evacuation, you are better off with the 1/16".
Detonation will also come into play as thinner rings are obviously weaker & are more likely to break.
If you want max power for the track only, the .043 may be better, but then again you will rebuild it every season anyway.

Yes the .043 sorry typed fast at work. What i need is good for a 300 shot never going above 6,400 rpm. Thanks for your replys. I work at a shop and everyone has there own opinions on what to do. I was curious what you guys did. P.s i will be running a crank evac. it will be driven lightly on street hangout spot is about 1 mile from house and work is also about 1 mile so i'd say 75%track 25% street
