Question 383 stroker

i just bought a new block with a 4.000" bore and i cant find a forged piston in that bore with 1/16 , 1/16, 3/16 ring width

i called speed pro, scoggin dickey and looked on JEs website and i dont see a single forged 4.000" piston

i dont want to bore the block because there is no need because it is a new block

does anybody know where i can get either a speedpro/TRW forged piston or a JE forged piston for a 4.000" bore

i need to stay between 9.5:1 -10.5:1 CR

i have a Eagle 4340 forged crank 3.750 (350) mains
Eagle H beam 5.7in rods
federal moguel rod and main bearing

but no PISTONS

PLEASE HELP

JE and the other racing manufacturers will make you a "custom" set, no problem. You will pay a bit more than for an "off the shelf" pisotn though.

I would just call the manufacturers, I'm sure they can take care of you. BTW, a 4.000" bore with a 3.750" stroke is a 377. Sounds like a nice setup though. Should be a pretty stout bottom end.
