Is 2KPA Worth Chasing

At WOT the motor is at 100+ KPA at 4500rpm. At 6000+rpm the motor is down to 98+KPA in the plenum. This is with a 58MM throttle body and a 3 1/2" cold air intake. So the question is 2KPA worth going after?

2 KPA isn't bad. Mine drops about 6 or 7 at 6600. That's with a 4" CAI and 58 MM TB. I thinks its in the manifold. I did MAF delete and ran a SD tune and still had 6 to 7 KPA drop.

IMHO that is quite a drop. Here in Southern California we have a "guru" named the Air Doctor. He is a big proponet of the monoblade for the LT1 based on his dyno testing.

I'm running a L98 with a highly modified TPI but was considering the monoblade if the 2KPA was worth it. Trying to get to 400rwhp. If I knew it would get me say 5-7hp I might do it.

A 2kPa drop on a standard atmosphere of 101.4 kPa is a 2% loss. 2% of 400HP is 8HP. But you aren't going to get it to "0".
