Anyone have some prices on the zz4 with the hot cam?? Im tossing around the idea of runnin a stealth ram on a zz4 instead of getting a blower. I dont know many guys running this combo yet, but well see what it does.

 

I'll be running a Stealth Ram with a ZZ4 cam, ported 083 heads. I'm working on the heads now, and am getting the intake in a couple of weeks. My shortblock is completed on the engine stand, I can't wait to get this thing back together!
I'm shooting for the mid 12's...we'lll see.

 

Seems like a lot of tpi guys are excited to try this intake. Im just trying to price the difference between finding a healthy used L98 and doing the cam, heads and all vs the zz4. Well see what happens. I just cant find prices on this motor for the short or long block....anyone?

 

What I would do to save money and make a few more HP is get the GM 383 crate short block. Add a set of Fast Burn aluminum heads and you will have an easy 400HP. Then add the Stealth ram. Even more power? ZZ409 cam

I am going with a stock short block, ZZ3 cam, Vortec iron heads, and a Scoggin Dickey TPI Vortec lower base, 24lb. injectors, custom headers, etc. It should run in the 12's I hope and still be somewhat cheap.
