the wires r black and orange, but i just need to know what current power source i could tap into for power, i was thinking my stereo but my tach is allready using that power, so i would think that my stereo, tach AND power seats would be too much for that one power source.........

you could run a wire off the battery through the fire wall to the seat!

I would go to the fuse block ,but the lighter should support your seat power.

i dont see any way it can fry the ECU.....

it doesnt need a constant power source, just the few seconds the seat is being adjusted......

thanx for the input

DON'T just use a bigger fuse to make up for the extra current draw. The factory wiring is very borderline on current capacity in places and it can melt and cause a fire. I have a car in my shop right now that is having to have $1500 worth of work done because the guy didn't know what he was doing and caught his engine bay on fire (bad wiring+leaky injector=big, big flames.)

Your best bet will be to use a male spade terminal and plug it into the open IGN port on the fuse box. If you already have something else powered there, you should be able to tap into the lighter circuit if the shift light is the only other thing hooked to it. If it blows the fuse, unhook it and find another power source. You need to run at least a 14ga wire for the power seat motor.

Either way it's not gonna fry the ECU.
