Post Will It Start

Okay, my question is fairly simple. I have an 87' Iroc with a 350 TPI. I've just finished the new Motor 383, JE forged Pistons, Ported Sportsman II heads, 10:1 compression, Custom Cam/crane ground for motor specs, SLP ported runners, Ported Intake/Plenum, 58mm TB, 24lb injectors, SLP Headers, 2800 stall converter. The question is will it start with the stock chip. FasterProms is burning a chip for it, but it's not here yet. I just want to know if I can get it running with the stock chip, or will it do more harm then good? Thanks,

Nick

I have not gotten that far indepth with chip burning and all but I would lean towards it is not going to be worth a squat at all. I would look into getting something.

If it does, it will be rough. I flooded out an engine with the stock chip when I used a 383 with 30 pph injectors. Patience. Eileen's product is worth the wait.

Will it start? Yes it will start. The question is will you have enough fuel and spark? My opinion based on looking at the '87 chip is that the answer is NO. There just won't be the fuel required nor the spark. Should probably wait for the New Chip to come.
